Help do lots of things around the house to show that you can be respondslible.
show them what kind of pets that are meant for the indoors and show how you can be responsible with having a pet. maybe you could find a pet that they would agree on. Try taking them to a pet shop and have them ask questions to the workers about the different types of pets there are. dogs and cat are nice but they take a lot of responsibility to take care of them. usually the best pets that are easy to take care of are like small fury caged animals like hamsters, Guinea pigs, gerbils,( they sometimes bite though) maybe even a bird. If you really love animals you should know that keeping a cat or a dog in a flat will be rather cruel as they require a considerable amount of living space. tell them that u are willing to give it as much exercise as it needs. and if its a long haired breed, let ur parents know that u will comb it as much as needed. look up a breed and gove ur parents the positive sides( example: if its a terrier you want, tell them that they are small, nice, inteligent...)show them pictures to let them now how cute they are, etc. you choose the breed u want, learn as much as you can about it, and good luck!! 10 easy points to convince your parents to buy/adopt a kitten?::
