Premier (was Gold), is now only 5 stays, down from 15 nights. Note it is stays not room nights. A 3 night stay, is one stay.
Platinum is down to 10 stays from 45 nights.
For one night stayers (not standers) such as myself, this is a huge help. The benefits of Premier are not bad, benefits of Platinum are significant.
I'm aiming for platinum this year, as the benefits look very nice.

On the summary page at fairmont.com, it lists the "Fairmont Experience Pass", which is 1 ski lift ticket, 1 willow stream massage and 1 round of golf. Who gets this??

Under these new rules, I've qualified for Platinum. 100% of my stays have been at the YVR property, and I've been extremely happy with the service there. Great staff and very nice hotel.

I saw this in my platnum package when it arrived a couple of months ago. I have already made platinum this year again. Lots of one nighters. However, my stays this year will pale in comparison to the 72 nights I spent last year for my platinum status.

I've been extremely happy with the Premier benefits. I received a nice upgrade at the Banff Springs hotel earlier in the year, and Fairmont has upgraded me to an executive suite at the Fairmont Orchid for my upcoming honeymoon later in the month (using a cert of course).
The service at these hotels is fantastic, and their customer care reps on the phone and at the hotel are trained very well--I wish all call centres could be staffed by Fairmont people.
Platinum here I come!
