"Our Official Designation Is Section 31!!!!"
Those were the famous words echoed by actor William Sadler playing a dark character called, Sloan, way back when Star Trek: Deep Space Nine aired years ago.
Section 31 has been so cool and unique over the years, that it has created an entire mytho's of it's own.
From three episodes on DS9 to various Star Trek Pocketbooks, to it's very own dedicated website, to JJ Abrams creator of Alias coincidentally taking the same concept roughly. On DS9, a character called Sloan is head of a covert organization called Section 31. On Alias, a character called Sloane is head of a covert organization called SD-6. Hmm. :rolling2

This is great news for Section 31 fans like myself.
I wish like Hell they would make a new Star Trek series that dealt with these guys as one of the major enemies.

Actually, I had an idea for a cool new Trek series either titled....
"Star Trek: The First Line"
or...
"Star Trek: Resistance"

Side Note: I have bio's and drawings of the entire crew. A detailed schematic drawing of the ship. And a rough pilot episode concept written. Isn't that exciting????

The use of mirror universes/worlds in sci-fi/magical series is not something I'd call original any more.
The same goes for time loops. Every fantastical series now has these two themes installed in one of their episodes.
Granted, they can be funny or even kick ass, but original??? No sirree

Yeah, it's ashame, too.
Cause all the mirror universe eps on Trek are pretty awesome....
despite their supposed unoriginality.
